Decoint

This smal but expensive tools will give us the opportunity to search more efficiently even at depth that will take very much decompresson time if being dived at.

The LBV1502 line of ROVs bring a whole new meaning to high performance small ROVs. Equipped with more standard features than any other small ROV the LBV is in a class of its own. Designed from years of experience and knowledge the LBV is a proven underwater inspection tool.

Perfect Balance
The LBV1502 system is the perfect balance between compact size, ideal mass, powerful thrusters and small diameter umbilical. Understanding that the umbilical represents the most significant impact on drag to an ROV, the LBV is supplied with the incredibly small diameter umbilical of 7.6mm. Adding to the impressive umbilical are the very powerful thrusters, able to pull the umbilical with ease

The LBV1502 line of ROVs bring a whole new meaning to high performance small ROVs. Equipped with more standard features than any other small ROV the LBV is in a class of its own. Designed from years of experience and knowledge the LBV is a proven underwater inspection tool.

What makes LBV even more exceptional is the ideal mass in relation to the umbilical and thrusters. It is one thing to be able to pull the umbilical, but once power is released the LBV is able to maintain a stable position without excessive influence from the umbilical. Other small ROVs have more umbilical drag and less power, less power and lower mass or all of the above making it very difficult to maintain a stable position in conditions less than perfect. Often referred to as "Tail wagging the dog syndrome".

Magnetometer

The MX500 Digital Magnetometer is our latest design of marine proton precession magnetometer which uses one of the new generation of ultra low power microprocessors to create an active tow-fish. The magnetometer consists of a tow-fish which can be supplied with various lengths of cable up to 150 meters, a Control unit and display software which runs on a standard PC or laptop. The Control unit provides the interface between the tow-fish and the PC, it also connects data from a GPS and an echo sounder to the PC. All data is transferred to the PC using just one COM port. Our survey software package MX Survey II displays the data in graphical form on the PC screen while simultaneously storing it to memory. The data can be saved to hard disc for analysis later.
Key Benefits
Digital telemetry for robust operation in the presence of other electrical equipment.
Built in depth sensor indicting depth of tow-fish.
Tow cable with Kevlar strain member allows depressor weight to be attached directly to the cable.
Echo sounder interface allows graphical display of tow-fish and seabed depth on a PC.
Worldwide tuning option.
Large omi-directional toriodal sensor, plus the ability to rotate the sensor inside the tow-fish to obtain maximum signal output throughout the world.
PC displays graphically the magnetic deviation, seabed depth, tow-fish depth and boat's position all on one screen.
Full data logging plus real time rewind to see anomalies that have scrolled off screen.
Overlay known features on plotter chart, specials symbols for anchors, cannons, fisherman's snags etc.
PC computes tow-fish position from the boat's GPS position, coarse, layback and tow-fish depth.
Define on screen Survey Grids to maximise the chance of detection. Lanes just a few metres wide can be defined.
Export magnetic data or seabed depth data to 3D software drawing packages for better visualisation
MX500 Digital Dual Sensor Magnetometer.

The MX500 Digital Dual Sensor magnetometer system allows two tow-fish to be controlled simultaneously from one control unit, significantly increasing the search lane width when towed side by side. Based on the same technology as the MX500 Digital Magnetometer this system is our latest development. The magnetometer consists of two tow-fish which can be supplied with various lengths of cable up to 150 meters, a Control unit and display software which runs on a standard PC or laptop. The advantage of the dual magnetometer system is that it makes it possible to identify small magnetic anomalies that could easily be missed using a single magnetometer system. In addition, temporal dirunal variations in the Earth's magnetic field caused by the sun can be easily identified and are not misinterpreted as possible targets. The dual system can be used in gradiometer mode with the tow-fish run side by side, inline, or one above the other in order to measure the vertical gradient.
Key Benefits
All of the benefits of the MX500 Digital Magnetometer technology.
Built in depth sensors indicting depth of both tow-fish simultaneously.
PC can display graphically the magnetic deviation from each tow-fish simultaneously, or as the difference (gradiometer) thus allowing the magnetometer to be used more effectively in areas containing magnetic rock.
PC computes each tow-fish position from the boat's GPS defined position, coarse and layback.
Tow-fish can be towed side by side to increase the detection swathe reducing survey time.
No false targets due to temporal dirunal changes in the earth's field.

stabys are made by Matns stabilizers

Our ship, the Cdt. FOURCAULT, is being build as a pilot vessel and although this was designed for rough weather, the ship in its second life as a maritime training vessel, was known as “the pukeboat”. Everybody got sick on this ship.
Now after our trip to Iceland and Greenland I finally found a group for stabilizers which was affordable. We knew about the rumor that stabilizers would take 90% of the roll… but is this true ? Well we where fat-up with the waves always coming from the wrong direction, so we made a deal with Matns stabilizers.
Now this year 2009 we took the ship to the dry-docks to fit the stabilizers. The result was yet to find out, not on a sea trial, but on our trip to Greece for Nat Geo and its AWESOME and unbelievable.  We always looked to the other ship thinking that they didn’t roll at all and where always rocking and rolling, now this is the past. Now when we look at the “others”, they (even thought bigger), where rolling and we where steady. Best investment yet. Unbelievable.
The company’s director is a engineer and did most of the design and calculating by hart and the after sales are the best too.

This is a picture taken by our Side Scan Sonar form JW Fisher. The SS makes an "movie" from the bottom of, in this case the harbor of Antwerp. Showing cars on the bottom. In the middle is a stripe which is the middle of the scan, then you have got the left and right of the towfish / scan. These cars we have found in assignment of the police. Some of them where there for a very long time as you can see of the depth of the scour around the car.
This is a car, if you look careful you can see this in the left upper corner. On the second photo you can see it being lifted by the Antwerp fire department. Next is equipment in our warehouse where we can do a lot of jobs. Including cutting and welding stainless steel, aluminum and of course normal steal. Marine inspections Inspections: cctv, photo or live ’on site’ recordings Propeller cropping and repairs Hull maintenance Anode replacement Cutting and welding Tugboat rental Offshore salvage operations Officially certified diving instructions
